About Me
I have spent 12 years navigating the unique challenges and rewards of raising a child with disabilities. My child has a physical motor disability, delayed speech, is cognitively delayed, and has sensitivities to noise and lights, which led me to explore a wide range of strategies, therapies, and support systems to help him thrive.
Over time, I have become a strong advocate for my child (and the disability community) working closely with therapists, educators, and specialists to create a nurturing environment tailored to my child's sensory and physical motor needs. I have a deep understanding of the importance of individualized care and sensory-friendly approaches, which I incorporate into our daily life, from managing big emotions in overstimulating environments to finding creative solutions for everyday tasks.
Each holiday season I wanted to create a special Santa experience that my child would be able to enjoy yet everything I looked at I knew would be overwhelming. A couple years ago, I decided to create this experience myself so my own child and other neurodivergent children could enjoy the magic of Santa in a low-sensory environment. I’m so happy to be able to do it again this year!
